Harbour Plaza

One York will be 37 storeys, rising 33 storeys over a 4-storey podium. The podium will eventually tie One York to Harbour Plaza Residences to a pair of condo towers rising to 69 and 65 storeys. 1,300 suites, 716 parking spots in a four-level below grade parking garage. The podium uniting the components will feature approximately 200,000 square feet of retail space and will connect pedestrians via a second storey PATH system extension to the Air Canada Centre, Union Station, and the rest of the PATH network to the north, while to the south it will connect to RBC's Water Park Place III tower, which is also under construction.
Expected occupancy for One York Street is slated for Summer 2016
Menkes is looking to bring a new look to the area. The modern-contemporary style will reflect the surrounding architecture, but the playful lines created by the balconies will certainly stand out along Toronto’s skyline.
According to an application submitted with the City of Toronto, Menkes is looking to develop twin residential towers, reaching 66 and 62 storeys. Harbour Plaza will be comprised of approximately 1,300 suites, 716 parking spots in a four-level below grade parking garage, as well as a significant office component.
90 Harbour was the site of the Ontario Workmen’s Compensation Board Building, which was built in 1953. The Ontario Provincial Police also called the address home from 1975 to 1989, at which point the building became vacant. The site was sold to Menkes in 2011, and the building was demolished to make way for whatever Menkes had in mind. With this new rendering, the future is looking bright for 90 Harbour.
Once completed, Harbour Plaza’s neighbourhood will no doubt be one of the most desired hubs in Toronto’s downtown core. Located minutes from both the Air Canada Centre and the Rogers Centre, sports enthusiasts will be able to avoid traffic and stroll to the big games. Residents will also be within a close proximity to the lake and Harbour Front, as well as the Entertainment District and Financial District. Harbour Plaza is offering downtown living at its best!
